My central locking is playing up on my 2013 c3.
Whichever way I lock the car the drivers door can still be opened from the outside, which then unlocks all other doors as soon as the handle is pulled.
Having come across another post on this forum with a similar issue, I checked deadlocking the car (pressing lock twice on key fob) whilst inside the car and at this point the door is locked and I cannot get out. However if outside the car the handle will still open the car even when deadlocked.
I’ve taken the door panel off to get access to the lock. The mechanism sounds like it is locking/ unlocking but the locking part doesn’t actually move, whether using the key in the lock or trying to lock electronically. I have checked that power is reaching the door lock which it is, so now I think the only thing to do is replace the door lock mechanism.
If anyone has any other ideas of things to try before I do this I’m all ears. I’ll update this post with whether it works or not after replacing.
