Hi, so im embarrased to say im a Mechanic, but today i went in and did business as usual, changed discs+pads in the back of my 3008, I didn't do any research beforehand, so i just went ahead, things went great, i used a gutmann to put it into service mode - here is where things may have gone wrong, i didnt push the piston back, instead i spun them with a tool back, can this cause damage? Usually in my experience it doesn't but may have here? I then reassembled the brakes, and then tried taking it out of service mode, when i tried this the caliper simply kept spinning, and wouldn't stop, and the gutmann made an error, even then the caliper motors kept spinning. Eventually i had to take off the battery terminal to make them stop. car stops fine and everything, but handbrake is non functional. I have a picture of the faultcodes.
If anyone knows a fix for this, i'd appreciate it.

Re: Faulty handbrake after changing pads.
You shouldn't turn the pistons on these, possibly you have unwound the mechanism inside the caliper. You might have missed the lug on the back of the pad allowing the caliper piston to spin. If you take the motor off the back of the caliper you can try turning the operator behind it to see if the caliper tightens up.
