Citroen C3 Desire1.4 diesel

Hi all, we have c3 desire 2006. The car suddenly will not start, it turns over but not firing up! The remote fob has stopped working, when the ignition is turned on the wipers go in intermittent, the side light is displayed on the dash but there not on and the radio display is blank!!!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
