Hi gurus
My 2016 C3 1.6 BlueHdi has a whining sound from the gearbox.
It is present in most gears even if I hit the gas or when I release the gas and the wheels drive the gearbox.
My mechanic says it's a common problem and he replaced the gear fluid with Liquid Moly GL-5 Hypoid Gear oil 80W-90 and Liquid Moly Gear Protect additive.
It sounds like whining is still getting worse.
The car has only done around 90k miles.
Are my bearing going bad?
Is it OK to replace fluid with the Liqui Moly?
What is the correct amount of oil?
Can you guys tell me which gearbox I have?

Are there any easy tricks to make the whining go away? Maybe overfilling with x amount of fluid?
