Provide your VIN. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

I can check with your VIN, but with a 2.0L HDI you will have an Eolys additive system 99.9% sure.

So yes, you have both Eolys additive tank for the particle filter and a separate Adblue tank for the SCR system.

For the Eolys additive and your vehicle build date you require 'Powerflex' additive. You only need to top this up when the warning and message tells you on the screen. But remember, the tank is hidden under a heat shield next to the fuel tank and is gravity filled. You also need a professional level diagnostic tool to reset the additive counter or the engine ECU will not know you have done this.

Ok, so the first link is for Adblue only (never put that in anywhere other than the adblue tank)
The second link is fine too, that's powerflex for the diesel additive tank.

This is where you should find the filler for the Adblue (shows for 5 and 7 seater):

This is where the additive tank is for the Diesel additive (Eolys) shown at (16):

Wow, that's expensive Adblue.

I really like my car. I drive every year from germany to turkey for holidays. Lot of space and very diesel is cheap but adblue makes me crazy. Very expensive.

You should top up a minimum of 1 litre - but can add more until it's full.

i have posted here earlier - Citroen C4 grand 2012
VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
The Particle filter needs filling error message
They have added the fluid using the Kit you can get and also set the fluid level , which is now correct reading
but still get the warning
The car has gone back to the garage to reset the Eolys information, again, they said they have already cleared the counters etc in more than 1 place - knew exactly whay i was taliking about from the advice here and tried a peogeot setting as well on their kit

followed up today and they say its back to the dealer , they cannot do anything further -

any idea, can i buy the kit to reset myself - I know i got a reader years ago from ebay for £20 - BUT i suspect this KIT is £100's to buy

What is the actual error you are receiving on your diagnostic? This is a large thread, so don't have time to go back and search if you've already provided it.

You may be better off just getting the dealership to do this as spending £100s on a diagnostic may not help if you don't have know your way around the software. There is also no guarantee that you will be able to do it as it is a known problem that some clone devices can't get it to reset on some engine ECUs.

Yep, understood this is so long a thread - thanks for the speedy reply
thats worth knowing , likely thats the garage problem then - they have had this issue a couple of time before with peogeot mainly

thanks

I'll try and get a main dealer involved , but suspect as last time , maybe 6-8weeks just to book in
