Part of this nice cockpit, with the added bonus of a bit of shadow photography.

There you go. I like this. Anyone been behind the wheel in one of these. Not the "normal" thermometer-ey type strip, but a pointer.

That looks like the dash in my old Volvo which I posted a picture of on the estates thread the other day, I don't recall seeing that type of pointer on any other cars I've driven :-D

Correction.

After reading one of the brochures I see now that the pointer is not an active thing moving along in response to the speed of the car, but a largely useless static pointer which you manually position as a reminder of what the speed limit is.

I presume when in motion the normal ribbon most likely red progresses from left to right as speed increases as it would on a vauxhall viva :-D

Live footage of such action is unlikely to be found on you tube I would think. :-D

Coincidentally just watched that and did a screen shot, and the speedo took a bit of coming into life but he hit the heady heights of between 20 amd 30 here :-D

1970's Lancia-esque garish upholstery, but it's French

I'd dispute that as being garish Neil, I rather like it :D

Me too, it's lovely! Growing up my family's car was a mk 2 Golf (B937WCK) that had a nice blue interior too

Polarised lens on the camera makes it stand out so much (interesting if you took another picture with the camera turned 90°, then it would likely not stand out so much!)
