C5 brake light switch.

Unread post by Lordnorfolk »

Hi all.

Citroen c5 tourer diesel 2015.

On a recent trip to France covering some 1200 miles I was told my brake lights were on all the time, as I had suffered a lack of cruise all the way I suspected brake light switch, It’s amazing I didn’t get rammed.

Bought a replacement but can not see how to change this switch.

Help needed

Maybe you don't know the location?
It sits just above the brake pedal, but you have to remove the plastic part before you can see him.

Ok I’m a bit confused here.

All I can see under the dash is a wire going to the throttle nothing on the foot brake, am I missing something?

Is there a difference on the later c5 this is 2015 exclusive.

Taken a pic but cannot see how to send it.
