A Standard Vanguard, lardier in the flesh than I imagined when my Grandpa had one in the 1960's.

Close to Hemel Hempstead this morning I saw a very strange vehicle, and I managed to take a note of the reg; UBH 292. It turns out to be a Cooper Jaguar T33 (whatever that is!).

When I saw it it was a nice shade of green. I only saw it from the back, and I thought (from the fairings behind the driver) it might be a Jaguar, C or D type. I wasn't too far off with my guess.

Seeing as the Panhard 24CT came up on interiors and dashboards, it deserves a little moment in the spotlight.

and who better than Hub-Nut to take us through the Panhard 24 story, with some sound and moving pictures, and what looks like an avocado-esque example.

Sorting through my holiday DVDs I found this. Maybe should have put it in the 'What's this?' thread but here goes.

Interesting so it was the TD 2000 from Malaysia. Wiki has a page on it https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TD2000

Last entry on the thread before today was in February 2023, and that little flurry was precipitated by the FCF Archives February Ferret thread by random selection. Without Gibbo's little stimulation today the thread would have remained firmly back in those dusty archives, once more never to be viewed or added to, in spite of its excellent content.

..and an added bonus today it provides a whatsthisthen-ette? (too easy to make the link to the answer for a proper whatsthisthen? )
