I have never seen a snail with such long antenna/eyeballs! Looks like something out of an animation film but it's certainly no Turbo.

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Drove from Armidale to Blue Mountains today (561km), arriving after dark. Took this photo of Mt Piper power station near Lithgow.
Southern Cross & the pointers visible directly above the steam - helps to click on the photo to enlarge it, but you probably need to know what Crux & the pointers look like to pick them out.

That's a cracking photo Alec
I had no trouble finding them but then again, you know why...
When I first saw the photo I thought it was a big ship... Reminds me of the time last year I saw, for the first time ever, a big cruise ship in Southampton docks... I was stunned at how big it was
Couldn't believe it was a ship!

On that subject Jim I came across this cracking picture yesterday, which one did we see?
Two clues: It was the longest of them and you can see it again here

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Ah, we stopped to look at some of these - looking back in Google photos, just about a year ago now. They are quite incredibly massive - no idea the true scale of them until stood near the base of one!
