...sometimes it's the simplest things and the fuses are often overlooked. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunatley the engine warning light has reappeared, (not UREA as of yet) when the mechanic looked at it again this time it was saying somehting about a fault with the injector + - connection more electrical than physical hes cleaned the connections but same error, could it be a faulty unit on the injector? or damage on the wire loom some where.

Im tmepted to buy a cheap replacement injector to see if that rules the issue out somehting like this (sorry for the long url) i do believe this is the part number of the injector for my car adblue injector 9802763880

If you are considering this, then I would personally only consider a genuine one.

You can get a genuine one for not much more than that unheard of one you linked to above:

Thanks Marc, so far ive had no UREA warnings Again just the engline warning light still, would a faulty injector electrics cause this? im guessing a engine warnig light is an MOT fail? (not due till December)

I'm pleased about that part of it now working, but unfortunately the EML or Engine Management Light is a Major fail now, so I would get it checked before then to be honest:

I think it used to be only where the EML light was on with another specific warning lamp, but it now seems they have become more draconian....:
Engine malfunction indicator lamp (engine management light or ‘EML’)
Turn on the ignition and check that the engine malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illuminates and then goes off. On some vehicles it will be necessary to start the engine before the MIL goes off.

You need to inspect MIL fitted to:
  • petrol vehicles with 4 or more wheels, not more than 8 passenger seats in addition to the driver’s seat and first used on or after 1 July 2003
  • petrol vehicles with 4 or more wheels, more than 8 passenger seats in addition to the driver’s seat and first used on or after 1 July 2008
  • gas and bi-fuel vehicles with 4 or more wheels, not more than 8 passenger seats in addition to the driver’s seat and first used on or after 1 July 2008
  • Kit cars, amateur built vehicles and American pickups are not required to be fitted with an engine MIL.
Defect > Category
(a) Emissions levels exceed the manufacturer’s specified limits > Major
(b) Emissions levels exceed default limits > Major
(c) Lambda coefficient outside the default limits or the range specified by the manufacturer > Major
(d) Emissions test unable to be completed > Major
(e) Engine is idling clearly above its normal idle speed > Major
(f) Exhaust emits dense blue or clearly visible black smoke for a continuous period of 5 seconds at idle > Major
(g) Exhaust emits excessive dense blue or clearly visible black smoke during acceleration which would obscure the view of other road users > Major
(h) Engine MIL inoperative or indicating a malfunction > Major

The EML explanation talks about petrol, gas and bi fuel vehicles. Does this mean that diesel vehicles need to have a second light illuminated and illumination by itself is not a major fail?

Diesels too - the above was for 'Spark ignition' vehicles, there's a whole world of pain for 'Compression ignition engine systems':

Defect - Category
(a) Smoke opacity levels exceed the manufacturer’s specified limit -Major
(b) Smoke opacity levels exceed default limit - Major
(c) Exhaust emits excessive smoke or vapour of any colour to an extent likely to obscure the vision of other road users - Dangerous
(d) Exhaust on a vehicle fitted with a diesel particulate filter emits visible smoke of any colour - Major
(e) Emissions test unable to be completed - Major
(f) Emissions test not completed because smoke levels are significantly in excess of the specified limit values - Major
(g) Engine MIL inoperative or indicating a malfunction - Major
