Hi,
I've recently acquired a 2014 Jumpy 2.0HDI and had a few minor issues since. Both headlights failed in the last couple of weeks.
On replacing the second one I've noticed that the alternator voltage is around 15.1 Volt (car running).
This seems a bit high to me (I assume up to 14.7 would be acceptable but not higher).
I've entered my car model in some of those online parts shops and they come up with a dozen of models (alternators). I'm curious about the B+(M8) and COM connection mentioned.
I assume the B+(M8) is the + coming from the battery. The COM however looks like a LIN interface. I have always thought that the Jumpy II alternators do not make use of this connection.
Any thoughts/suggestions? (15V and the LIN interface)
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply.
I will have a look at the earth points. I'm not sure where these are situated.
But I can start with the battery and the alternator. If I can not measure any loss between those two, then I assume that the earth points are fine.
I can not imagine that 14.4 V leaving the alternator and ending up well in the battery can lead to 15 V anywhere else in the car.
Thanks again
GV

Re: Citroen Jumpy/Dispatch
All is fine with the car. The excessive voltage seems to be normal.
The alternator is controlled via a LIN interface. In the workshop they have told me that this was part of the upgrade 2012-2016 to meet Euro 5 specs.
With the lights on the voltage is never higher than 14.6 V.
