205 metal brake pipe replacement

Is it possible to replace the long metal brake pipes that run from the front of the car to the rear subframe area <b><i>without</b></i> removing the fuel tank?

Hi,i had mine done a few years ago,i was going to tackle it myself then found out you had to take the tank of to do a proper job,so it got booked in at my local garage instead,plus i didnt have a flaring tool either.

Yes, it can be done without removing the fuel tank, but it is very tricky.
Block the end of the pipe with toilet paper (To stop the crud getting in) and bend it to shape using the old pipe as a template.
It's them merely a matter of trial and error, bending the pipe as needed.

Bottled out and had it done by traditional local Peugeot garage for ~£100. Interestingly they only replaced the underfloor section of the pipes, using couplers to the original underbonnet pipe run.....
