Is the cooler an integral part of all high pressure DI diesels or specific to the HDi PSA system?
I am wondering if it could be the cause of my engine shutting down with low fuel rail pressure, given that the engine seems to start fine from cold, can handle a fair few revs (Xsara Picasso has no rev counter as far as I know!), but then conks out after 15-30 min.
Has anyone owned a 1.6HDi with a defective example?
