Hello, I have a 2006 model 1.4 HDi 206 and it has cruise control. I want to wear it, what should I do?
I think I need to update BSI
Can you help with this

Your post doesn't make sense, sorry "I want to wear it". Use a translator programme if English isn't your first language.

Re: 206 1.4 HDi cruise control
Hi everyone.
I’m preparing to retrofit cruise control on my Peugeot 206 1.4 HDi (EDC16C3) and I’d really appreciate your advice before I start the activation procedure.
Here are the technical details of my car and hardware:
- Engine ECU: Bosch EDC16C3 (Copilot said:supports cruise control, no speed limiter)
- BSI:MUX model, fully working
- BSM B3
- Brake pedal switch: 4‑wire
- Clutch switch: 2‑wire, detected correctly in live data
- COM2000: Delphi unit with the AMIS microcontroller and the 3 SMD resistors on the cruise pins (should support cruise)
- Cruise stalk: OEM PSA stalk with CRUISE + LIMIT positions (I think LIMIT won’t work on EDC16C3, but CRUISE should be fine)
I’m about to buy a Lexia 3 Full‑Chip interface (12 NEC relays, 7 optocouplers, firmware 921815C) and i have Diagbox 7.53 on Windows XP 32‑bit.
Before I begin, I’d like to ask you:
1. Is the activation procedure simple on this ECU/BSI combination?
(BSI → “Cruise present”, ECU → “Cruise present”, no limiter)
2. Anything specific I should be careful about when writing configuration to the BSI or ECU?
3. And why someone said to isolate PIN 6? Pin 6 is for SET+ button.. pin 3 is common. Or maybe mine is different?
Any guidance or tips from people who have done this retrofit on a 206 with EDC16C3 would be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance!
