I've been waiting for LWB Kangoo to be released, but last year I got bored of waiting & bought a pe reg Fiat Doblo aka Berlingo Van with 100ml on the clock, I paid 19.5 grand+vat
Looking at used vans a 3 year old 100k Partner was 10 grand+vat, I think pre reg was better deal ?
I'm expect to run the van for many years, the 1st thing I do when starting it is turn off the stop start as takes ages for the engine to warm up & get on my tit ends
I'm also always toping up the adblue tank, as I understand the less air in the tank the less problems you'll get later on ?
Crazy that the same product has five badges - Citroen, Fiat, Peugeot, Toyota Vauxhall

I think you'll find you can only disable the Stop Start each after time the vehicle is started. It won't have any effect on the warming up of the vehicle, as the system is designed only to stop under certain conditions, including the exterior temperature and the demands required of the climate control (temperature requested by passengers) and other factors too many to list here.
Read your owner manual with regard to Adblue, as each vehicle may have a different minimum amount to top up by and not doing so may lead to problems also. In the case of some Berlingos it's 5 litres to register the top up.

When it 1c or below stop start can't be turned of as it disabled
Running aircon makes stop start only stop for 20 seconds or so
it all pointless IMHO
Trying to keep the tank full, I add 1- 2.5 litres every weekend, I can hear when adding adblue when the tank is nearly full, other wise the adblue runs out of under the wheel arch liner or runs out of the filler neckGiveMeABreak wrote: 20 Jan 2024, 10:08 Read your owner manual with regard to Adblue, as each vehicle may have a different minimum amount to top up by and not doing so may lead to problems also. Vans between up to Edinburgh & down to London, appears to be electronically limited to 100mph ?

That's all normal behaviour for the reasons I explained already - multiple conditions must be in play for both stopping and starting of the engine (battery condition, external temperature, number of miles from last stop event, demands on electrical system, battery charge status, engine temperature, seat belts fastened etc.). Airconditioning is part of the climate control and if the needs of the passengers (requested temperature) and conditions inside the vehicle require the A/C to engage, then the vehicle will start the engine or prevent it stopping.dave wrote: 11 Feb 2024, 22:25

Not a good idea to top it up that frequently and never to overfill it! You are asking for problems. Just top it up every 2-3 months so you can get at least 5 litres in.dave wrote: 11 Feb 2024, 22:25Trying to keep the tank full, I add 1- 2.5 litres every weekend, I can hear when adding adblue when the tank is nearly full, other wise the adblue runs out of under the wheel arch liner or runs out of the filler neck
That may be the case, best speak to your Fiat dealer for confirmation.dave wrote: 11 Feb 2024, 22:25Vans between up to Edinburgh & down to London, appears to be electronically limited to 100mph ?
