Citroen DS5 won't start

Unread post by Citroends5chick »

I've had my car just sitting outside for a couple of months now as I haven't been using it, once in a while we went for a little ride just so the breaks function well. But the other day I tried to start it and when I pushed the start button it started to show all sort of failures, all the different types of failure came up on the screen and after a little while it didn't even do anything, even locked the doors. We tried to charge the battery from another car but it didn't work. Not sure if we have done it correctly as it was hard to find the minus (-) side of the battery. My question is. Where is the minus part? I even looked at the manual, it doesn't describe it well. An another question, could it be that the whole electronics just shut off for some reason?
It's been minus temperatures where I've had the car, that could have contributed to it maybe, not sure.
Any help is appreciated. My husband and I are rubbish when it comes to cars. We have the car in Hungary right now on the countryside far away from everything so not even sure how we could get somebody out here to fix it if we can't do it.

Thank you
