Reading back, I have to agree with Jim on one thing, Berlin is awesome!!!! I would disagree with the remastered stuff though it takes away from the 'feel' ,when it's on Vinyl it makes sense if that makes sense? I'm a huge Elvis fan but Vinyl crackle is way better than remastered IMO

I've just wished someone on WhatsApp a 'Happy Noxing Day' and the spell checker missed it...

I guess they'd best drink a glass of Adblue to make it a De-Noxing Day...

Happy Boxing Day one and all :D

Though I don't get a lot of crackle, I have to agree in that I find vinyl mostly more engaging - and that, in the end, is what listening to music is all about :)

Happy Christmas one and all :-D

Today I went to Kingston (a locality within Milton Keynes and not Jamaica) to do my last bit of Christmas shopping - couldn't yesterday due to bad ears and concomitant balance issues - so delayed it by a day...

I gave up. At 10:30 in the morning the queue was stretched out to Broughton (about a mile up the road) just to get into the car parks of the shopping complex!

I couldn't believe it... If that was what one of the smaller MK shopping complexes was like, I shudder to think what the big city-centre one was like...

I've told the family Christmas this year may have a small renaissance in early January after I've managed to get to the shops with reasonable ease and without having to fight through thousands of grockels just to park my car

Bah bloody Humbug indeed

Apart from that, I really do quite enjoy Christmas nowadays...

Just been to our local Lidl, the biggest in the area. A but busy at the checkouts but not a lot slower that usual. Five minutes at the most.
Car park serves Lidl, Greggs, One Beyond and a huge B&M and was only about half full.
Usually busier on a normal Sunday.
