Interestingly spooky one for you Neil, when my sister was at Leggatts School in the 1960's she had a great deal of trouble getting to grips with logarithms until she took extra evening maths classes where she learnt all about logs in no time - What's spooky you ask? Her teachers name was Mrs Congreve!!, whose mother in law may have written that poem!!

Re: Poetry Corner above.
I have to say, the hottest bonfires I've ever had have been burning pure Birch. Fantastic colours from the flames, but burns so quick. Elm and Poplar were always slow and somewhat unimpressive to burn. Chestnut is really only any good if you've got an enclosed woodburner.

A suitably festive one from Salcey Forest today...
And my reward for a lovely 5 mile run around the forest with a good friend. It was a bit wet and muddy - just how I love it

Super photos Matt
I took one look out of the window this morning and decided not to run until it thaws... Just too dangerous - black ice everywhere here...

It's well known that Scania make lorries....
But did you know they also make this?
From their very own bees that live in hives on the roof of their Milton Keynes UK HQ
