Excess voltage (10 volts) on Canbus line (308 T9).

Having resolved my battery management issue I'm now looking to resolve the orignal problem --- no communication with the dpf additive tank.

Tessted the input to the tank at the socket and while the system voltage was present as expected, the signal line was showing around 10 volts. As I understand it, I should only be seeing the mid to upper 2 volts here.

Any one had this before and -- more to the point -- found an answer ? I'm leaning to suspect the engine ecu or BSI, but am very open to suggestions. There are no other issues with the electrical system showing up.
