led dashboard speed display unit

Does anybody know why the LED SPEED AND FUEL DISPLAY unit keeps GOING brown in certain areas then clears up.
I'm driving a 2011 Citroen C3 Picasso. 1.6 VTR

Which one is it, left, middle or right? Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff, then I can see which type you have.

Is there any reason why my post yesterday about the Led dashboard unit going brown

You need to give it time until one of the members who has knowledge of this reads your post.
Members do not log in every day, it can go weeks before someone recognises the problem and can advise.

My VIN IS as follows VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Unit is the top right one.
Sorry about the confusion. But I'm not really conversent with these forums

is it OK at night with the lights on? When it's backlit in orange?

If only during the day when ambient light via the windscreen and the rear of the pod via the white frosted panel is used for illumination then maybe that white frosted panel is dirty or there's an object in front of it and moving around and thus causing the uneven illumination.

Yes it seems OK at night. When the orange back light is on

That'll mean the display itself is OK... Check as I said for objects and dirt, either on the back of the display or even a mucky lower part of the windscreen...
