69 plate boxer engine seized

Unread post by MrsSWill »

Well what a nightmare these pergeot boxers are... I have a 69 plate boxer that has a siezed engine, done 69k miles all services done as should have been, 4 year left on finance and is now sitting in the garage. Tried to get some help from Pergeot as this sound like a manufacturing fault to me, who expects a 4 year old van to do this, we have been back and forth to garages with ad blu errors, engine lights on, everytime we go they said there was about 100 error codes so wiped and wait for them to come one again. Bloody thing went 3 day's before the booking day of a service. Anyone had any luck getting pergeot to sort out and replace the engine. It had a recall also but waiting on the garage to provide me full details on the recall and to see if the recall caused the fault, they said it hasn't but I think other wise. Sorry mainly her for a rant and see if anyone has any helpful advice.

you might be better getting some good will if you approach Peugeot customer service UK rather than a local dealer especially if you have already had some service work with their dealerships . notwithstanding you have plenty of grounds for complaint. The finance company could also be brought into play as effectively they have a say on the state of the vehicle and have more clout than us mere consumers. What sort of mileage and garages have you been using as the Pentagon one where I live , further north than you are pretty helpful
