This time of year should be festooned with POTD contributions from every single member of the FCF who has a photographic device.

Autumn Colours and probably the best time of the year for dramatic lighting across all sorts of settings from the urban environment's town and cityscapes, to woodland and lakeside scenes. The autumn colours wont last long make the most of them.

Make the subject of a photograph the sky, see what the camera captures...

That would entail leaving the house in most cases.
Dull, grey and overcast here today anyway.

A nice soggy Bury Field this morning during my parkrun course check run :)

It's starting to approach my favoured running conditions: wet, partially under water and muddy... It has a way to go yet but it's getting there :)

Marking the Midhurst and Easebourne border the River Rother marks the frontier between the two territories. :)
Tide's in ! The water level is down a bit in this picture but it's been level across the view and up at least 6 foot over normal.

@Newcastle Falcon, can I take that image you sent with the purple leaves on the ground and get it put on canvas? It wouldn't be for business purposes just literally for me and my family and friends to see...

Sadly no opportunity for me to get out with the camera, I even forgot to take any of today's work while in progress but I have been helping build a log cabin from the ground up. I did take one at the end of play and I will try for some more tomorrow when work resumes! :-D

Wow, that's quite a shed :D

Been a lovely day up here today as can be seen from this view of part of our junior parkrun course :D
20231105_084020 (1).jpg
I was a big spoilsport and coned-off that big puddle on the path and made my junior runners run around it... I knew just what they were planning and sternly told them not to at the briefing

I even positioned a marshal there to ensure their little feet stayed dry :)

At least they had a bit of mud to run through a little later on ;) I couldn't deprive them of all their fun:)

Puddle art , along with bonnet art, is a genre of POTD which would welcome more contributions...be inspired.

Not mine this time but by Mark a friend of mine who is very good at this type of thing.
