When the hell did Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts become Maynards Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts ?
What's the world coming to ?
P.S. If you want a sweet that your kids will never forget - feed them some Nordic salted liquorice. You know those blocks they have in the bottom of urinals ?.........

There was a bloke at work who would swipe and eat anything edible he saw lying about so I bought some 'saltgodis' and left them where he would find them. He loved them

Somebody I used to know had to deal with somebody like that. He then cooked some lovely Cornish Pasties, and left them in the staff fridge. One went missing, but after that nothing else disappeared. A Cornish Pasty with a coal tar soap and charcoal flakes filling will do that.myglaren wrote: 30 Oct 2023, 17:25 There was a bloke at work who would swipe and eat anything edible he saw lying about so I bought some 'saltgodis' and left them where he would find them. Well they do it every year and don't hand out sweets, they ask for donations for local charities every year and even do a Xmas charity one.

Allegedly it's a massive money-spinner for many areas of the economy. I spend no money on it whatsoever and will have my house in darkness and firmly locked...
I have an intense dislike of Halloween...
