Are you planning on visiting Swanage? If you are you will go past Corfe Castle, and the Swanage Light Railway.

Alasdair, hide Sally quickly before he sees it!!! I don't want to see a video of Jim in the driver's seat rocking backwards and forwards whilst crying!! Would be funny though.....

I must confess I'm looking forward to seeing her Ryan, to see the transformation :)

Day 4 of the Saunter was absolutely amazing :-D Some of the very best bits of Cornwall were enjoyed and it surely is a truly magical place :D

Choosing photos to capture it all is difficult but this is mine... First one taken in St. Maws...

I am not sure if I am going to be able to make it tomorrow. I have the 'snuffles' (but NOT COVID19; I have checked), so I will have to see how I feel in the morning.

Nice bit of what I call "Thread splattering" this morning Jim, hitting a few different FCF threads with pictures/comments from your trip. It brings threads to the attention of new members/viewers/current members which they may not realise exist. I have seen recently where a couple of newish members have seen "Toolbag Tales" and other threads pop up and gone back and followed the thread back from the start. I have noticed a few likes from posts made years ago! even back to the first "Cluff cartoons" I posted at the very start of the Pickled Egg thread!

While I like a nice comprehensive gallery of many photos at the end of the trip, a bit of in trip thread-splattering is always welcome :-D

Is the Mary Rand Long Jump Record commemoration in the pavement still there in the vicinity of Wells Cathedral and do I remember correctly it has a bit of a jack and jill thing with the clock for dinging the bell when appropriate.

and the Blue Harbour Signal box and especially the level crossing gates...an absolute treat with the red celebrations lids!! :-D

I've been to all the places in Jim's last post, a week in Woolacombe, it rained the whole week :( Blue Anchor we used to hitch hike there from Norton Manor Camp in Taunton while I was doing my national service, REME in 1953, Cheddar a few times.

You'll have to count me out I'm afraid. I'm definitely not up to it. I'll come and see you both when I am able to ride my motorbike again, it'll give me something to aim for and go!

Last time I went to Woolacombe the were miles of sand and few people - but that would have been in the '50s :)

I have arrived home now and can start sorting out my pictures and tales from the Saunter. As Jim has been putting up some pictures along the way I know you have an idea but I will write up the whole trip as soon as I can as I did for the September Stroll. I have some other commitments this week so it may be a few days in coming!! :-D
