Have to give Ryan the credit for that, but a closer look reveals the clue left behind in the picture which I had missed. 545 miles as the crow flies from Biarritz...One version of the Bristol Hotel is in Gibraltar and in an approximate co-incidence Bristol is 553 miles from Biarritz as the crow flies (As the crow flies mileages supplied by https://www.doogal.co.uk/MeasureDistances )

As 10 points were up for grabs, I'll give 6 points to Neil and 4 points to Ryan if that's OK. 'tis Gib from a few years ago

Excellent contribution to the POTD gallery of such things Jim, and along with Bobins' teaser a very decent start to the collection.CitroJim wrote: 22 Oct 2023, 05:40Agreed, you can get some really great photos at night...NewcastleFalcon wrote: 21 Oct 2023, 11:36 With the nights drawing in, this is one of the best times of year to experiment with a bit of atmospheric, twilight, evening and night-time shutter clicking. As ever no inhibiting threshold of photographic excellence or interestingness.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
An associated thing to experiment with in atmospheric, twilight, evening and night-time shutter clicking is the silhouette. I meant to pause and try to engineer last night's Half Moon into the silhouetted dog but failed to stop.
