Replacing DS5 Suspension Sensor - any programming?

I've ordered the suspension sensor for my DS5. Thanks Marc for the part code 6224Q5. Hopefully this will stop the directional headlight fault appearing every time the roads are wet. The garage plugged their computer in, it said it was the front suspension sensor. I do have the PSA software on a laptop, was going to check myself but they've saved me a job.

Does this need some sort of calibration procedure after fitting, or will it take care of itself?

Make sure they don't remove the clamp - or at least mark the position EXACTLY as it is before removing! The positions are set at the factory, so if you lose the exact position of the clamp it will need setting properly doing all the calculations. Not as bad as on a Hydractive C5, as of course the suspension relies on the height correctors for correct levelling.

But they need no coding.

Thanks, looked at replacing the clamp/arm at the same time but thought it would be a calibration issue as it looks like it's just a jubilee clip, so presumably set at the factory with some sort of setup jig. Amazing just how home-made the whole thing looks!

Will just get the sensor replaced with the old clamp/arm. Unfortunately can't safely jack on our sloping drive but have a good local garage who's happy for me to turn up and lob a pile of ebay parts at them.

Noticed there's also some sort of box for it. Is this some sort of weather-proofing, if so then would replacement be sensible?

Think the box is part no 5 on the first diagram.

Am I reading it right, that front and back sensors are the same part no?

(5) is the Heat Shield for the front (not shown as available for the rear on your vehicle), part: 6224L7, £18.16 if required.

Only shows the front sensor for your vehicle on parts..... but I may be reading it wrong - as in there is no (3) available, so if there is a rear one, then I expect it is the same.
