After umpteen years of running Citroens with proper susspension, I am finding the one thing that really disappoints on my recently acquired B78 is the relatively soggy rear end. Work often involves carrying heavy gear and the back end definitely sags under load. I don't think it has tired springs as such -- in fact they look quite new.
What has really surprised me is that I cannot find any advertised product specifically for the model to address the issue. I see countless ads for going from air to steel on the previous model; me -- I'd happily go the other way.
Even the old fashioned, but reasonably effective Autoball ans seem to have disappeared from the market. Self levelling or air shocks -- can't find a single catalogue referencing the B78.
I can't think I'm alone in this -- so has anyone fond a decent solution ?

What year and mileage is your car, just in case the rear springs are in need of replacement ?
A daft question now, what weight are you putting in the back, are you overloading it ? If not you could consider adding extra progressive springs such as MAD auxiliary ones that caravanners might use. https://mad-suspensionsystems.com/en/ap ... ngselector

Hi Paul.
The car is late 2014, but the springs are visibly very much newer. According to the handbook, it has a payload capacity of a little over half a ton; I might load it to around half that. I have an early parts list for the B78, but annoyingly, the springs are not on it. Anyone have the relevant page showing them ? I would like to know if PSA actually list a heavier duty option. (In fact, I would very much like a full parts list -- I am never inspired with any confidence, talking to our local Parts dept. ) Meanwhile, I'll check out the springs you mention.
