Aftermarket car alarm for 307 break
Can someone recommend a car alarm for a 307 break? Are there alarms who don't work? Would a Viper 5706V work?

Any aftermarket alarm (if fitted correctly) should work with this car, Just depends on if you want to utilise the original key fobs or ok with different ones.

My car is VAN model, so that means one more keyfob.

Where do I find the wire diagram, so I know what wires with each other? Whats the best way to it (crimp connector, soldering, "power thiefs"...)? What is the best spot to run the cables for the siren trough the firewall into the cockpit?

I would hope that the wiring diagram would have came with the alarm you bought?

It did (https://www.manualslib.com/download/723 ... 5706v.html). I meant on the car. Where are the wires on the car? What wires do I need and which to discard?wheeler wrote: 01 Oct 2023, 17:37 I would hope that the wiring diagram would have came with the alarm you bought?

If you ask the seller you bought the alarm from if they have a data sheet for your car. Normally the alarm companies make these to help installers locate the relevant pick up points for all the connections that need to be made.
If they dont have a data sheet then its a case of getting a test lamp & multi meter out. Of course there are Peugeot wiring diagrams but they are all individual for each system. You would need each separate diagram. Locking, starter, indicators interior lighting etc.
It will also depend if you plan on utilising every feature like remote start for example.
And yes all wire joins should be soldered.
