C5 X7 2.0 HDI 120kW (2011) / air conditioning blowers not working

Unread post by AdamP83 »

Dear all,

my blower does not work.

The fan itself is OK, tested on an external voltage source.
I had already replaced the regulator module.
The fuse F11 is okay.

But the 12V voltage on the module or fan drops to 3V.

Does anyone have circuit diagrams?
Or an idea?

BR

It's still likely to be the blower motor control module. It's designed to power up the blower motor gradually. However, cheaper control modules are known to be useless. Get a decent branded one and try that.

Plenty of posts by searching the Forum on "heat blower control module"

I replaced this Modul by Mahle ABR 21 000P.
How I see, Mahle Behr is the manufacturer of the original module from Citroën.

pop up your VIN and I'll put up a diagram - it may be one of the the relays in the engine fusebox (R7), so you could test that for a supply. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Ok, so 8045 is the Blower Motor Control Module.
