1.6 e-hdi camshaft position sensor

Unfortunately i have found the DV6/5 engines not as forgiving after a timing belt failure. The cam lobes are pressed on to the shaft & they often twist on the shaft. Seen plenty of them damage valves too. On the older DW10 8v engines i have never seen a single one damage a valve after a timing belt failure.

Is my engine in the C3 a DV5/6 then?

I find that taxi companies use Mercs etc as there prestigious cars. Citroens are designed for comfort, like a 2CV with eggs on the bonnet, it's designed for comfort, if Citroen ever changed that I'd be looking at other cars!!
