I don't know, as my Rev B Lexia will only go up to v7.15 and works properly (even though it should only go to V7.14!).

My version is a lower version as like what Hell Razor5543 said modern versions seem to not want to do what you want them, i had to roll back to an older version last year and i had more simpler functionality and it ran smoother too... on another note i do like my maxicom machine it does lots more and faster.

I've run the car through the laptop I have. I'm currently on V7.62 but I don't think it's high enough. I tried Lexia, wow was that from the 70s!!! It said no to everything apart from Injection? Looked at it and basic faults. So I restarted the app and selected diagbox at 7.62. 11 codes later... 3 stupid bsi ones, 1 I can't remove is F something because coolant is to low, rubbish. 2 for tyres which don't bother me as I removed the internal tyre pressure sensors as stupid with the metal valve sticking out that snaps easily! The only issue is P1404 which is EGR which I expected. The problem I have is how the fck do I reset the FAP counter!

Reset it , aslong as the pouch is full your be ok , egrs are a pain in the arse.

That's the problem, I don't know how to. It took me awhile to figure out on diagbox that I don't have a C8, I have a C8 CAN. I think that's short for C8 CAN and will draw blood, sweat and tears from you when you try to work on it.

Mine seems to talk both "C8" (VAN I think) and "C8 CAN", but it only detects the VIN in "C8" mode. However, in C8 CAN mode, the data polling rate is quite a lot higher, so I started to use that when I realised.

Oh and a side note on the dangers of Lexia. I've had a "1 tire pressure sensor missing" error displayed pretty much since I bought the car. While I was in doing diagnostics a month or so ago I thought "I'll just take a look at make sure I can't reprogram that missing sensor" (in case it's not a battery fault). So now I have "4 tire pressure sensors missing". ;-)

If the MAF is unplugged the ECU goes into default mode. As you have discovered a quick and easy test to see if the MAF is functioning correctly.

If you can access it you may be able to clean it. I used carburettor cleaner but ther is now a dedicated MAF cleaner (same thing I suspect).

Mine was ailing as the wheel arch liner had exploded and exposed the air + water, grit and leaves intake and made a mess of the MAF and filled the air filter with water and roadside crap.

A couple of squirts and it was OK. Don't touch the wires with anything other than the spray and don't drop or shock the MAF, they are exceptionally fragile.

It will revert back to default settings , not sure if it would pass an mot as the emissions will be slightly higher.
