Yes, that right. I won the right to be in the cockpit for the start up procedure and even got to push no.2 throttle from 50% up to full power. How cool is that? You know what they say, more people have climbed Everest than have pushed a Vulcan throttle up to full power.
As you can see from the guages and dials, this was a live start up experience. So here's todays picture of the day.

Speaking of weather, I went for a run early this morning and in the 8 miles I was out and about it started off in heavy rain and ended in full sun!

And I saw that Christmas has come early to Paggers this year...

We went to Trago Mills last week, first time for ages. I needed some antifreeze - they didn't have any, apparently because its not winter - they had Christmas goods on sale though. :?

I spotted this in Stevenage today
