Citroen C5 X7 Hydractive suspension bottomed!

Hello, greetings from Romania, I have a problem with my C5 X7 from 2010 2.0 diesel. I bought this car from Austria. I sent a friend of mine to pick it up, when he drove the car up on the trailer he sent me a picture of the car lowered but not at its minimum height. When he arrived we got the car off the trailer and noticed that it had lowered itself completely to the bottom with a huge puddle of LDS oil underneath it. The car hasn’t ben driven for a long time and the battery was dead, I can’t get the car tu rise back up, and I can’t hear the Hydraulic pump move at all, we checked all the fusses and non where burned, we tried to diagnose the problem with DELPHI, the only code that showed up was U2005 which I red about being harmless, we tried to lift the car using this diagnosis tool but we didn’t have any luck, if someone could help me I would be
very grateful! I’d like to mention that we tried jumpstarting the hydraulic pump with the cars battery and it did start.

1) If you have an LDS leak it may have come from the steering rack, as it uses the same supply of LDS from the main tank.
2) If the car has been running and there is no LDS, then the suspension pump may have burned out internally.
3) You could have a leaking strut.

In either case the LDS is low and if there is a leak somewhere, the vehicle may have been constantly trying to level itself and dry running the pump if the tank is empty.

I think the last owner tried to lift the car, after that much time that the car didn’t run, it depressurised in time and the oil level decreased in its reservoir, he must have thought that there wasn’t no oil and might have topped it up, but when the car arrived to me and bottomed down completely, the pressure threw the excess oil out. I am also afraid that the low voltage from the battery might have affected the BSI or ECU, disabling the pump, is it possible?

Low voltage is easily solvable with a new battery or charge the existing battery up. So that will only be temporary - a low battery won't damage components, but can prevent operation if a certain voltage is not present.

It is not clear that you found and checked the 40A maxi fuse. See viewtopic.php?t=64730 for clues.

I have checked every fuse, including the 40A Maxi fuse
