Would anyone know if the boot catch motor has a fuse, not the boot latch, it is the catch, took it to Manchester Airport left it two weeks came back to it and got a roof warning sign on dash instantly, the latch is working ok, as is the button on the boot lid, but it is not pulling the lid down now and the catch is at its bottom position when the boot lid is opened when it should be in its top position ready to receive the latch and pull shut. I can't see a fuse location for it so I am guessing it is on a circuit with possibly the central locking system which works ok, but I am not 100% sure.
It could of just given up who knows, but it has not given any warning of giving up like the boot lid button did, i.e Intermittent working, Can't see any water or smell any damp in the boot. all a bit odd.
Anyone any ideas.

Re: Megane CC Mk3 Boot Catch motor
Low battery will be the issue most likely after being stood for 2 weeks, with all the alarms and sensors going in the background.
Give the battery a good charge and then follow the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure which should fix it.

Re: Megane CC Mk3 Boot Catch motor - FIXED
FIXED!
Rather embarrassing really, a dry catch pivot.
I always lube latches, hinges, roof locks and rollers above screen, clean and krytox seals but ALWAYS forget that boot catch, why would you lube a catch you don't lube the door catches, I keep forgetting the boot catch is motorised, so if you own a Megane mk3 CC remember to lube your boot catch as well other wise it sticks and put a BIG red warning on your dash and worse of all roof wont open for the limited sunshine we get in the UK.
Drove to work in my car this morning, the Meg roof off, wind in hair and another sense of accomplishment..... and back for Sinatra on the wireless.
2 French cars fixed in 2 days, BOOM!
