Hi all. I have a UK RHD 308 T9 SW 2017 1.6 hdi blue 120 s/s.
I recently visited main dealer after adding new EOLYS tank so they could reset ECU. They reported they could see the fault codes but could not access the ECU to register tank and clear faults. Standard OBD Nexus Bluetooth reads everything ok on FAP and OBD tactile. I inspected the OBD port after advice from Peugeot Forum and found that Pin 8 has been distorted/pushed back. Also pin 14 is distorted slightly but looks to still be functional.
I want to get the OBD port out to allow enough space to give it a good repair. I have all tools and have removed the gearbox centre trim, radio cover, support block that sits below the mat you remove to gain access to the panel in front of the OBD port. Despite all that I cannot seem to get near the port to remove it for repair. There is what appears to be a release clip to the left of the port but I am scared that if I release it and move the port backward into the hole it is gone forever. Please can anyone let me know if port can be removed (and how) or if it can be pulled forward from the panel(and how). Thank you
