Anyone bought Xantia spheres lately?

Unread post by xantia_v6 »

My Xantia V6 is in need of some spheres, probably all 4 at the back and the hydractive centre sphere at the front.

Most of the spheres currently on the car were NOS genuine spheres fitted 6 years ago, but I suspect that they had sat on a shelf for 5+ years beforehand.

It is about 10 years since I bought spheres, so I would welcome any advice on what is currently available.

Given your location Mike, I'd be inclined to pop over and have a chat with Martin at Pleiades whilst he re-gasses yours :)

Or, go and pay Will (Dieselman from Club-XM) a visit ;)

Did you get yourself a re-gassing rig?

I did indeed.

It’s a a dream wafting along in the cars now.

Plan to offer re-gassing if there is enough interest as I’ll have further kit to invest in.

Might even have to do pre-orders as Tecnosir wanted €50 shipping for kit to UK. I’m not sure they will discount postage much just for Valprex valves. So just working through that.

Hi. This is actually my first post here. I recently bought the six main suspension spheres for my Activa from Garage80.nl I got a set for a friend's BX at the same time. It all went well, including delivery to Tasmania, Australia.
