The POTD's reputation is saved, well done Mick/Bobins
Better show willing myself. Not a 41 shutter-click day, in fact only one which in full is over on the "Makers Name Close -up Original Photos Only" thread.
Cutting away the superfluousness, the essence of the subject matter is revealed for POTD, with the Falcon in shutter-clicking action pose, captured nicely in the reflection.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Had a farcical dealing with DPD today, they delivered the replacement lawn mower for the one I bought on Amazon a couple of weeks ago, which failed to run on its second outing!, and the driver was supposed to take the original one back. When he arrived at the front door I had the return boxed and ready to go but I had been told by the seller that the return label would be in a wallet stuck on the replacement's box and the driver would attach it. He handed over the new one and turned to leave!! I called him back and told him about the return which he was supposed to take back and he replied "I haven't got time", and almost ran up the drive into his van and away!!
I removed the wallet and attached the return label to the old box myself and then advised the seller what had happened by email. Within minutes they came back to say they had rebooked the collection for this afternoon! I emailed back and told them I would be out this afternoon which is why the delivery had been scheduled in the morning in the first place!! So I told them I'd leave the parcel out in the covered walkway, where they usually leave parcels for me and take a picture, and take a pic to prove it, they would need to advise the driver!! Hence my entry for POTD:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Today, quite remarkably was again a 41 shutter click day not by any sort of design. I don't want to spoil the symmetry with a logical follow on from Mick's DPD story , by photographing our delivered by DPD box which was (as per our request) left in the Micra, and there for us on our return.
So not applying any logic to my picture of the day selection random.org will produce a number from 1-41 to select the picture, and it's number 13.
and that is the former Kirknewton station on the Alnwick to Cornhill Railway nice bit of dressed stone, now residential.
Some of the other 41 may well be splattered around other threads . Most of the photo's 1 to 13 relate to railways and in particular signal boxes some of which will appear on the thread "One for the Railway buffs" no doubt.

Kicked off a bit rain-ey this morning so back to the 41 and a nice cheery bit of colour. Nice that this sort of thing is done, gives a nice impression of a place, makes you want to visit and enjoy. Kelso, one of our go-to's on a regular basis.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Its almost a shame to spoil the feast of inactivity today on the OTCL but needs must and POTD needs satisfying.
In line with not very stimulating day on the OTCL I present the second in my POTD collection of Incongruous objects.
I've called it a bag of cement and a track rod end

Very strange, it says multi chem that can be used as/with screed. From my drillers point of view that's weird

I'll join the picture club, here's a new arrival that's just appeared bottom of the garden:
I can't remember the exact percentages but recall advice on wild mushrooms picking something like:
About 10% will kill you, about 10% are edible, and the other 80% just taste like crap!
