As per the subject box, I have taken the plunge into making my own beer
It has a few more days to go, but the farting is more or less stopped! So, should I leave it or should I add some more yeast?
I used a Mr Beer product for my 1st go (amber ale I think) and I didn't add sugar, but a beer enhancer instead.
It was going ok, but we live in the lower Arctic Circle (Highlands of Scotland) so I bought a heat pad and wrapped the vessel with my night gown which kept it around the 20 degree's Celcius mark. I also put it at the top of the stairs between both bedrooms to allow it to take advantage of the ambient temperature.
Any advice ?
