heater problems
The heater fan stopped working, it cost me £732.98 plus £110.40 diagnostics at the main dealer just over 12 months ago. and the same thing has happened again The part numbers the main dealer replaced are:P6441CZ htr Air pu and P6441F control mo. Have looked on ebay and the parts are readily available. the only thing i need to know is how to remove and replace them. I have had the glove compartment out and can see the blower motor but need to know how to remove. any help with this will be greatly aprechiated. I do not want to pay the main dealer another £800.

Re: heater problems
It's usually just a couple of screws and disconnect the wiring connector. Try youtube there should be videos on the likes of this.what kind of car is it

Re: heater problems
Did you check all the fuse, try cleaning the harness connector with contact cleaner and make sure it's fully seated. Check for broken or chewed wiring

Re: heater problems
Everything looks fine no chewed wires, blown fuses. Acording to ebay there is a climete control module. do you know where this module is situated? maybe this has blown? I'm clutching at straws here lol.

Re: heater problems
The climate control module is the switch gear for the Aircon. It should have a diagnostic function if it's digital.if it's analogue (no display,) it won't. You may Google the self diagnosis for the climate control.did you recheck your connections. Did you check under bonnet fuses.
