I've certainly been about a bit in June! Magical

And I got about a bit yesterday on my bike

That ride hurt a bit as I'm a little out of practice for long distance cycling... It's been a while since I've been further than about 40 miles.

Two cafe stops were needed. I ran out of water...

Weather was perfect Lovely and warm!

A busy day today preparing Bluebell for the Citroen Car Club National Rally this weekend

She got a bit grubby on her trip to Somerset the other week and now looks much better... As well as giving her a good bath I also re-snotted her bumpers...

Mick visited and whilst my house was again being measured up for windows, doors and a new conservatory, he fitted a new rubbing strip on the passenger door... The old one had always been missing and really spoilt the look of the car on that side...

I cannot believe the difference it's made... Transformational

Thanks ever so or doing a job I'd never be able to do Mick!

Whilst I was in show prep. mood I also gave Sally the Saxo a good clean inside and out... She needed it!

Yesterday I attended day 1 of the Citroen Car Club National Rally...

Before that, I actually got to RUN at a parkrun as well as volunteer I'd not ran a parkrun since January 2022 and that was down in Somerset! I could do this as two of our local parkruns were cancelled by order of the landowners due to high winds and danger of trees falling so we were not short of volunteers or runners at ours! We have few trees at Bury Field... Clue in the name

I'll be running a few more parkruns now as I've just negotiated to buy a proper running buggy and will be running with Autumn. She's well ready as she already loves me pushing her fast in her ordinary buggy!

After timekeeping at Junior parkrun I'm hoping I'll be off back to the National Rally for more fun and photography of tasty Citroens I'm hoping, with the weather forecast to be a bit better today, the attendance ill be much higher than yesterday...

It's a super base-spec. 10E

Problem is, it's a left-hooker and on French plates...

I guess I'll have to go through the aggro of NOVA and that horrendously long and complex DVLA form to re-register it in the UK....

MoT shouldn't be much of a problem. It's in good condition for its age...

I think the registration number could be something like this, nice bit of photography, perspective, and prose though Jim. Hope you have enough garage space for your new acquisition, maybe next to the Citroen CX and the H Van!

That'll be the usual oil leak from the head gasket Every TU engine on the planet leaks there... Except Bluebell, Daffodil and Sally.... They're the exceptions

I've not opened the bonnet yet to check...
