DS7 Louvre - unable to stop rear ventilation

Hi all,
I am new here, so hopefully this will all go well
I have a DS7 Louvre and am experiencing some weird things with it.
The rear ventilation keeps blowing air and I am unable to shut it.
My Yorkie sits in the back getting this blown in his face, so I need to cover it off with a towel.
On the touch screen I do not have a tab to adjust the rear ventilation and it also cannot be stopped by hand.
Any ideas how to stop the airflow to the rear vent?

The rear vents behind the gearbox binnacle (facing the rear passengers) can be adjusted and closed off at the vent.

I suggest you have a read of the owners manual on page 53.

"Rear" function
Activating the function switches on the blower in the rear air vents.

?? In the Climate touch screen application, select the Rear tab.
?? Press the line "Activate rear climate" to activate/deactivate the function.

Remote settings controls
With the "Rear" function activated and the remote settings controls unlocked, the rear passengers can take control of the main air conditioning system settings using the touch control panel located at the rear of the centre console. The settings displayed on the screen are modified accordingly.

Hi, mine is a RIVOLI trim and there is no control screen in the rear; nor is there any rear controls on the main screen ... it seems there is no way I can turn off the rear vents without stopping the blower completely. I read the manual, but there isn't nothing on the model I have ... any ideas ??? I am already thinking of making some kind of cover to place on the vents, nut it seems unbelievable they made such a mistake ... thx

Are we talking about the DS7 (as you don't have this in your list of cars profile)? Perhaps it would be easier if you uploaded a picture of the vent in question.

If so, then climate settings on the touchscreen should have a second page, from which the rear passenger blower can be turned on or off if fitted shown by (14) below:

Yes, so on the last picture above, look to the bottom left and press the OPTIONS on the screen, this will take you to the second page of controls, where you can find more settings.

From there, you will see a menu for the REAR.

thx, but the picture before the last one is the one with CONTROL OPTIONS; in that menu no REAR ... there is only AUTO MODE and MONO, maybe some software update will give me more options ??? thanks again, Mirel

If the menu is not there, then maybe you don't have the additional equipment - it may be only on a certain trim level. If you have your VIN I'll see if there is anything mentioned. (please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff).

A software update won't fix missing hardware.
