ds5 hybrid4 stop no cranking. hope this helps someone

ok the car was sat up for six months new battery put on cranking but wouldnt start quick look and found drive belt snapped.took tensioner off and it was very loose so both replaced from arnold clark at cost of 185 for both. wow it started.
Ok, so a week later went to it no go no cranking just ignition and Stop red message engine fault . plugged in my copy diagbox with 9.68 and read codes loads of them cleared as many as i could still nothing so i downloaded version 9.129 and hey another 20 codes appeared and this programne managed to clear all but 4 of 30 codes. As i cleared a code for power steering the stop light dissapeared and heyho turned on and we have go all systems work. so wether its because i cleared lots of codes or just the power steering one i dont know but it worked for me so far.
I love the car but it can niggle you but stick with it theres usually a simple answer Good luck if your having issues and hope this helps
