Loss of power and loud whine while accelerating grande picasso 1.6hdi

Plugged in obd2 and got codes p0100 and p0104 relating to maf sensor not working right, the messages inside the car are particle filter risk blockage and depollution system faulty. We took of pipes leading to intercooler to check for any leakes couldn’t find any so put it back on after turning car on noticed grey smoke coming out of exhaust.
Mostly worried about loud whining from engine while revving.
any help greatly appreciated
