My son has a 2005 Twingo 1.2 with a Quickshift gearbox.
Over the past little while I have been trying to diagnose why it has been losing ATF fluid out of the quickshift system.
Today I discovered that what is happening is the pressure in the system is being forced back into the reservoir after the car is turned off.
This is forcing the fluid from the system back into the tank which of course fills beyond capacity and then it leaks out of the vent hole in the cap.
I need advice on what could be causing this pressure to bleed back after the car is switched off.
I would assume there is some sort of check valve either in or after the pump but before the accumulator that is supposed to prevent the pressure return like that.
Advice on what needs to be replaced please.

Re: Quick shift fluid forcing back to tank
Did you resolve this issue?
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
