Quirky scrolling issue

Unread post by mickthemaverick »

The facility to scroll down pages using the mouse wheel has stopped working! The wheel works as normal on other sites, ebay, outlook and youtube to mention a few but no action at all from the wheel on here! Any ideas? :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

No problem here - mouse scroll is working fine mick (Brave Browser).

These browsers (Brave & Opera) are chrome based and often have glitches - especially Opera that I used to use - most notably after they auto-update the version.

As a follow up Marc, how do you find Brave compared to your previous use of Opera? :)

Much better - that is after I've disabled 99% of the crap that comes with it and turned off all useless features and customised to my needs.

Mine is working OK on this laptop but the other one is crap. Replaced the mouse after fixing it a couple of times and the (old) replacement was the same. Bought a new BlueTooth mouse and it is rubbish too. Scrolls down then leaps back up the page and is very inaccurate. Time for a replacement replacement.

I have left Brave pretty much as it comes, other than replacing Brave search with Google.

I have loaded Brave, setup my starting screen and bookmarks and turned all the gizmos off. It is certainly faster so I now have it on trial!! I have changed the search to DDG as I am used to that and too much change at once may not give me a clear idea of good and bad!! :-D
