1. A DS21 E Registration but with Area identifier AKX which is of course originally Buckinghamshire.

2. An X-Suffix on a Triumph Dolomite Sprint VPD nnn X PD is originally a Surrey reg.

I remember a small news story from that time that during one of the performances of that song a crack of the whip caught Dozy on the cheek and left a cut. There was a photo accompanying the story showing Dozy looking crestfallen and pointing to the cut.

Anyone else remember that?

Doesn't ring any bells with me Paul I'm afraid, I had a quick search on DDG but all I found were obituarys to Dozy, Trevor Ward-Davies, and Dave Dee.

Unsurprisingly, I don't have any photos of these But I might have a photo or two of their counterparts in a couple of day's time

Surprisingly this Garage-Find from 1937 on X day also had an X in its Registration

KXS nnn XS originally being a Paisley Identifier.

Dont think I have revealed the car yet, will do shortly on the the unlikely coincidences thread.
