Another V (and another V8) a "driving experience"
Vantage
Vantage
Very enjoyable, didn't really go very fast, but the experience certainly did! Felt like about 5 minutes in The actual driving seat! Green T shirt scruffy bugger about to get in is me :)

Car was very nice, but odd cheap nasty gearknob was a surprise! (it was a manual, much preferred than the flappy paddle nonsense of the Ferrari that was the other drive on that Experience) wondered if a sacrificial cheap knob had been fitted to take the abuse in its driving experience tole, then the proper one refitted when it was sold off??

That's a beautiful, peaceful scene Jim. Is that a Cable Car stretching across the water in the distance?

I had a Water photo in mind as well, although mine's a bit more agitated:

The agitation is caused by a Whale (which you'll just have to imagine), which has just slapped it's tail - hard.

This will do both V and W, Venice plus lots and lots of water.

Incidentally do you think the male actor could do a good pretence to being the Ukraine leader?

W-Day

How many car manufacturers had an illuminated grill badge? Hard to find any other example than good old Wolseley, until very recently.
Wolseley first introduced this hallmark glowing badge feature of the marque way back in 1932 and retained it right up until the very last Wolseley model was built in 1975 – the short-lived and rare Princess 18-22 wedge-shaped Six Saloon – which also featured the marque’s unique ‘signature’ illuminated grille-mounted badge. Strangely, no other British (or European) car maker ever followed Wolseley’s lead and put its name in lights.
Interesting little read about "Why don’t car manufacturers light up their logos?"
In the period Wolseley operated they were just about the only one, but in more recent times brand lighting is very much an important part of automotive designers, without the understated subtlety, class and simplicity of the Wolseley grill badge.

This was the last of the line, and quite a gorgeous thing too.
