Auto gearbox fault 2015 208

Hi new to the forum, I hope someone can help with the problem I have got with 2015 peugeot 208.
The car developed fault in auto gearbox not changing gear When stopped it would not start again. Had it recovered and now trying to check it out
My problem is on checking with diag tool I can get communication with engine no faults,air bag etc no faults , but no comms with Auto box
The starter will not crank, some times when switched on you hear it moving gears itself
CAN SOME ONE HELP WITH WIRING DIAGRAM INFO so I can check out can system ,powers etc for for communication to try and get fault codes from
gearbox .Also is the gearbox control unit the one fitted on top of the battery If someone could give some help on the problem

No, the gearbox ECU is fitted to the actual gearbox on a proper automatic.

You need to check the dashboard for warning symbols and what is being shown on the gearbox selector display as these are a clue as to what is wrong. Also, are we talking about a proper Automatic or a piloted manual gearbox?

Hi thanks for quick reply I think you are correct the gearbox is a manual with electronic control The model No is BVA-AM6-AT6-UDS I think? in diag
I have worked on Vauxhall corsa with similar gearbox am I correct
If so can you help with info as how peugeot gearbox works. I think engine will not start as engine can not see gearbox in neutral
The VIN No is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] A wiring diagram for the correct gearbox would be a great help
I will check if gear position is showing in dash and let you know I think with a bit of help from you we can check out the fault

Yes its a piloted manual, not a proper auto.

Thanks Wheeler the wiring diagram is just what I need
I recognise the engine ecu,abs,bsi but if you could give me the number chart for the rest of the modules
I would need to recognise selector actuator,clutch actuator etc It would be great help to speed up checks
I can now mean time check power supply ,earths, can lines for communication fault with diag ( to morrow)

Thanks again for quick reply I checked the component codes against the wiring diagram and sorry they dont match I think it would need
to be taken of the diagram itself . I am sure you can fix it
I will remove battery etc and and see if I can find gearbox controller to check at the pins
had a look at fuses BFRM I thought would be under bonnet fuse box No 22 40amp all ok
No gear position showing on dash, funny things happen when switched off ign key out it moves the gear selector for no reason still no comms with gearbox
you can here it happening for 1 or 2 minutes
