Excellent work Mick, appreciated. For N we have Newcastle Falcon, Neil, Newcastle, Northumberland I have no excuses for my own non-participation today!
Gibbo much appreciated contribution, although I can see how our Mayfair shenanigans led you to your post...
To avoid any doubt... though N-day today!
Literally the Newcastle

My friend Mark is 100% a more accomplished photographer than me, many times published so I'll nick one of his for a Newcastle Post.NewcastleFalcon wrote: 17 May 2023, 07:58 A very satisfying conclusion to "M-Day" but its yesterday's chip wrapper now.

Certainly did, there is a free charger there in the car park, although with a bit of greed inflation for the new "season" the car park charge has gone up from £1.80/hour to £2.30/hour a 27.7% rise. Still, the car park on a sunny day in May was pretty full. The EV charging post is still "free", as you would have to pay the carpark charge anyway as the rest of Craster is double-yellowed and no public parking other than in the car park.
The bay next to us was marked clearly EV only, with a notice to the effect you still need to pay the parking charge too. Up pulls a Range Rover petrol thing, parks in the EV bay. Mentioned to the driver, I'll call him Mr N. Titled, for his own benefit, that that bay was EV charging only. Mr N. Titled apparently was perfectly justified parking in the EV Bay and blocking the charger, because a delivery wagon was blocking his access to the upper car park. Of course it was impossible for him to wait the 3 minutes for the driver to complete his delivery, and off he went with a trumpet-ey-trump, trump-trump-trump.
To cap that, Mr N. Titled also didn't buy a car parking ticket. Unfortunately poetic justice was not done and he got away with it. Presumably the car park regulations enforcement, and machine emptying officer does a once a day reccy, and he escaped on this occasion.

Lucky for Mr N that it was you there and not me, or he may have found a couple of flat tyres when he got back to his car!!

Range Rover had probably leaked all its oil out by the time he got back to it.
