Need help asap 207 2008 rpm not working

All of a sudden started car but rpm is not working but Speedo etc is working

And I've searched 207 rpm problem and nothing

I got a feeling I going to be told it's a wiring harness problem somewhere causing the problem

Anyone have a idea

Some reason got it working I thought I wonder if the 12v cig might be the problem and it's now working let just hope that was the issue lol

Not sure if to just get rid of the car

Now revs have started to work again anyone know what this could be

Going to try unplug fuse box and replug them back in and then might after get a quote at weekend if I can't solve it

Are you saying the rev counter is not working but everything else is working ok? no running problems?
If this is the case i cant imagine it being anything else but the instrument panel itself, maybe a dodgy stepper motor on it.
If it was the engine speed sensor the engine wouldnt run. If it was wiring to the instrument panel it would likely affect other gauges/warning lights.
